From Concerned Citizens

“Our In-Home Personal Care Program matches caregivers and clients to provide the best possible, customized services to each participant. Quality personal care is instrumental in helping our clients attain the highest possible quality of life. Our caregivers strive to prioritize dignity, respect, and personal choice in all aspects of in-home personal care.

As the only part of Concerned Citizens that is affiliated with SEIU (Service Employees International Union), our personal care workers enjoy union benefits and wages; by providing a favorable environment to employees, this program attains good staff retention and promotes strong commitments to the clients we serve.

We review client needs and try to give them the best services possible, taking their unique situation and choices into consideration. After this discussion, we develop an individualized program plan to help manage clients’ daily needs. We then pair them with the caregiver we think is the best match for them and ask clients to help interview them when we bring them to their homes. If, at any time, this match doesn’t work, we will work to find a caregiver that is a better match for our clients.”
